Refund Policy
A nonrefundable tuition deposit is due upon enrollment.
The deposit is refundable only in the event that the student is denied an F-1 visa after two attempts, with suitable proof of both denials. In this case, North Cedar Academy will return the deposit minus a $150 administrative fee plus any associated remittance costs. Under all other circumstances, the deposit is not refundable.
No refunds will be issued for tuition, room and board, or applicable fees for any other reason once the academic year has begun.
To process a deposit refund due to visa denial, families must submit full bank transfer and recipient details in writing along with proof of visa denial.

Where do students live while attending North Cedar Academy?
Boarding students reside in our five-floor dormitory, which features separate boys’ and girls’ wings connected by shared common areas for socializing, studying, cooking, doing laundry, and relaxing.
Day students typically live at their family homes within 15–30 miles of campus and commute daily for classes and activities.

Do North Cedar Academy staff members also live on-campus?
Yes. North Cedar Academy has dedicated live-in staff on campus.
Each student-occupied floor of the dormitory has residential staff members living in each wing, providing supervision, support, and guidance to students throughout the day and night.
What regional activities and local attractions are available to students at North Cedar Academy?
Students at North Cedar Academy enjoy a variety of regional activities and local attractions. Popular options include visiting our local movie theater and restaurants, exploring downtown shops for souvenirs, working out or swimming at the community gym and pool, taking nature walks, kayaking, volunteering, and participating in seasonal community events.
In addition, NCA organizes frequent trips throughout the school year to destinations and attractions across our region.

Is living on-campus mandatory for North Cedar Academy students?
No. Living on campus is not mandatory.
North Cedar Academy offers both day and boarding options.
International students typically enroll as boarding students and live on campus unless they have arranged a host-family placement through an outside agency. Please note that NCA does not provide host-family placement services.
