Faculty & Staff
Cristina Errickson
Spanish and Science teacher
Biography
I have taught science for the past three years in rural Wisconsin. This is my first year at North Cedar Academy, and I am excited to teach both science and Spanish classes! My science electives classes include Weather and Climate, Environmental Science, Aquatic Ecology and many more subjects.
Education
I studied Environmental Studies at Lawrence University, a private liberal arts college in Wisconsin. There, I had two great opportunities to do undergraduate research, one in pollinator diversity and another in limnology. I also studied abroad in Costa Rica for a semester, where we did field research in the rainforest!
What I Enjoy Most About Working at NCA
We have a beautiful campus, dedicated staff, and amazing students!
Fun Fact/Hobbies
Outside of work I enjoy hiking and kayaking. The coolest thing I’ve done this summer break was skydiving, and I would do it again because it was surprisingly relaxing. Next summer, I hope to go tent camping!
