Biography

Over the past 36 years as a teacher and administrator, I have worked in American Schools in El Salvador, Guatemala, Bangladesh, and Panama as well as in both public and private schools in the United States. At NCA, I manage our students’ health and well-being and daily needs with the help of our resident life team in our dorm, our school nurse, and our food service and custodial teams. Together we create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment that provides everything our students need to grow and thrive to become independent young adults.

What I Enjoy Most About Working at NCA

I love interacting with our students and learning about their customs and traditions. I enjoy creating opportunities for new experiences and memories for our students while they study in the United States. Our faculty and support staff are the best as they are incredibly supportive of our students both in and outside of the classroom.

Fun Facts/Hobbies

In my free time I enjoy playing guitar and singing, connecting with friends and family, traveling, reading, crafting, cooking and baking, and I love scuba diving.
