Join the Boys Basketball Team

Joining the NCA Intramural Boys Basketball Team is a fantastic way to build discipline, teamwork, and athletic skills. The boys practice several evenings per week and play multiple matches throughout the year.

Whether you’re a beginner or have previous basketball experience, all are welcome to join the Boys Basketball Team.

Drills, Simulations, and Scrimmages

The Intramural Boys Basketball Team trains several times per week after school to develop their skills. Practices often include shooting, passing, and dribbling drills, as well as inter-squad scrimmages and game-time simulations.

The NCA Intramural Boys Basketball Team competes against several teams in Rusk County and the surrounding area. Game days are a special time at North Cedar Academy, and the entire school comes together to cheer on the Eagles!

Gameday Celebrations with NCA

North Cedar Academy celebrates the hard work and preparation of our student-athletes by holding a “Pep Rally” prior to the big game. Faculty, Staff, and Students come together to honor the basketball team and cheer them on their way to victory!

Player introductions, music, and a visit from our mascot make gameday celebrations a special and memorable time of student life.
