Biography

Before joining NCA, I taught Algebra 1 for three years and worked in accounting and tax services in my home state of North Carolina. As a Residential Assistant, I support students daily needs while helping create a fun, respectful, and home-like environment. I also help build a strong sense of community by planning activities, mentoring students, and supporting their personal and academic growth.

Education

In 2019, I graduated with an Associate of Science degree from Nash Community College and continued my studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2022.

What I Enjoy Most About Working at NCA

What I enjoy most about NCA is the opportunity to create and build meaningful relationships with students from all over the world. Each student brings a unique perspective and personality, and that diversity is what makes NCA such a special place. I love seeing students connect with one another and grow more comfortable in an environment that’s far from home. It’s a privilege to be part of their journey!

Fun Fact/Hobbies

Another reason NCA is so special to me is that I get to spend my days working alongside my husband, Zack, and our sweet dog, Pennie. Being able to grow together as a family within this community is truly a gift. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, working out, shopping, decorating, building Legos, photography, getting my nails done, and just about anything involving arts and crafts!
