Keeping Our Community Clean
Students Contribute to Bi-Annual Roadside Cleanup
On May 5th, North Cedar Academy students assisted in the school’s Bi-Annual Roadside Cleanup operation.
To help keep our community clean and beautiful, North Cedar Academy partakes in the “Adopt a Highway” program within Rusk County. NCA students (along with teachers, staff, and administration) work together to “cleanup” the stretch of highway that NCA sponsors.
The cleanup operation lasted about an hour, allowing for several trash bags of garbage and debris to be collected and cleared by our NCA team.
This volunteering opportunity is deeply valued and appreciated by the Ladysmith community, and NCA is honored to be a part of this program.
