I was born in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, and after graduating high school, I joined the U.S. Army Reserves, serving 6 years. I’ve worked in the building trade and maintenance most of my life, and I was President of the Local Union 1435 Carpenters and Joiners of America for 5 years. I also attended ground school in Tony, Wisconsin, and flew solo in 1991.
Through the years, I’ve had various jobs, but working with my hands and woodworking always been my passion. From custom cabinetry, to doors and trim, my work can be found in many homes in Wisconsin. My work history includes building and maintaining Wisconsin’s first Ethanol Plant in Stanley.
When I first started my position at NCA, I initially thought it was about maintaining the grounds and buildings, however, I found it to be much more than that. Meeting and building relationships with the kids has been very rewarding! I look forward to coming to work each and every day! I hope to be an inspiration and a blessing to everyone I meet!
In my free time, I like working outside, spending time with my grandkids, and riding with my wife, Pam, on our motorcycle. Pam and I have been married for 38 years, and we have three children and six grandchildren.
