I grew up in Manitowoc, WI, and have lived all over the state. My husband and I were living in Franklin, WI, before moving up to the great Northwoods. I started my educational journey by earning my Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Upon graduation, I immediately attended graduate school at Michigan State University where I earned a Master’s of Arts in Counseling Psychology. I have been involved in education for the past nine years and currently hold the following licenses: 4K-12 School Counselor, 4K-12 Administrator, and 4K-12 Director of Curriculum and Instruction. I have been recognized by the RtI Center of Wisconsin for my work with PBIS Tier II interventions during the 2016-2017 school year at Cudahy High School. More recently, I was published in the Journal of Human Services: Training, Research, and Practice: Volume 3, Issue 1 this past winter for my research work at Michigan State University.
During my free time, my husband and I like to explore the outdoors and traveling to new places. We enjoy camping, hiking, snow shoeing, biking, and more. In addition, we enjoy participating in triathlons and various running races both in and out of the state of Wisconsin.
