I was born and raised in Ohio. I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. I have completed the course work for a Master’s in Mathematics at Bowling Green State University, and I am currently working on my thesis. My thesis is titled: The Effects of Readability on Simple Linear Regression.
I worked as a Nuclear Engineer for over 20 years in the Nuclear Industry; during which I worked in Connecticut, Florida, and North and South Carolina. As a teacher, I worked as a Graduate Teaching Instructor at BGSU. Last year was my first year of teaching at the high school level. I found it challenging but very instructive. I find the staff at North Cedar Academy (NCA) to be friendly and helpful. I believe the administration is committed to making NCA an elite boarding school. Personally, my favorite part of teaching at NCA is getting to know young people from around the world.
I enjoy mathematics, board games, playing guitar, and reading. In particular, I enjoy reading mystery novels.
